HARVARD — Bare Hill Pond Watershed Management Committee approves prior minutes and pursues modest budget increase. Chair Bruce Leicher and the seven-member committee, meeting via Zoom, discussed a 2–3 percent budget boost to offset higher electricity and maintenance costs, with the year expected to finish a few hundred dollars short. The committee was awarded the full $4,490 requested through a Community Foundation grant to fund homeowner guidance based on its watershed management plan, with a town-wide mailer featuring a QR code linking to resources to be built on the town website.
Frog monitoring efforts by Rainer Park recorded peepers and other frogs at Clapp Brook and near the tennis courts despite earlier cold-snap setbacks. ARC will conduct water quality sampling in May.
