Harvard Board of Health approves deed restriction and housing variance for 9 Quarry Lane. Board Chair Chris Mitchell, member Brad Holub, and member Susan Kilroy-Ames voted unanimously to allow a finished basement room despite septic system limitations and insufficient natural light, conditioned on a deed restriction requiring future owner notification and the use of electrical lighting and energy recovery ventilators. The board also unanimously approved stable permits for 347 Littleton Road and 42 Old Mill Road, and scheduled the Styrofoam collection event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Health Agent Jim Garreffi and staff will finalize deed restriction documentation for registry filing to enable building permit processing.
