Board of Health approves Skillings & Sons as indefinite water sampler

HARVARD — Board of Health unanimously approves Skillings & Sons as indefinite water sampler. Chair Chris Mitchell, Members Brad Holub and Susan Kilroy-Ames, and Health Agent Jim Garreffi reviewed the contractor's satisfactory performance and agreed to a trial year for new samplers while existing samplers may continue indefinitely absent problems. The Board discussed the MassDEP Recycling Dividends Program worksheet, targeting 23 points and approximately $3,000 in annual grant revenue through new initiatives.
One septic system upgrade permit was issued for 19 Partridge Hill Road; GW Shaw has not submitted final waste hauler permit documentation. PFAS remediation in the Warren Avenue area continues with three or four houses having installed POET systems.
