HARVARD — Capital Planning Committee approves $80,000 police cruiser purchase and $88,300 DPW truck. Chair SusanMary Redinger presided as the committee unanimously approved both vehicle acquisitions: Police Chief Babu's new cruiser, shifting funding from the omnibus budget to the Capital & Stabilization Fund, and DPW Director Eric Ryder's Chevrolet 2500 truck with plow, funded through a Fair Share grant. Dan Nason reported the $10 million DPW facility project is exploring a combined DPW and Fire facility site, with site closure costs estimated between $5 million and $6 million.
