Harvard Conservation Commission unanimously appointed Robb Ricker, a three-year member of the Deer Management Subcommittee hunter group, to formal membership. Ricker, who teaches two eight-hour hunter safety classes annually and emphasizes ethical hunting practices, discussed the importance of controlling the deer population while allowing deer to flourish. The Commission also unanimously appointed Vice Chair John Lee as Community Preservation Committee Representative and unanimously issued a Certificate of Compliance for 10 Houghton Lane, DEP#177-0748.

For Reuben Reed Land improvements, the Commission directed Conservation Agent Liz Allard to revise the Three Seasons Landscape estimate by removing hydroseeding and substituting hand-seeded native wildflower or drought-resistant grass to reduce costs. The Commission approved a $600 invoice to Bare Hill Landscaping for Herman Orchard mowing.
