Harvard Conservation Commission assesses $2,100 fine for wetland violations at 21 Bolton Road. Conservation Agent Liz Allard reported finding zero erosion control barriers on February 18 despite active construction, including foundation work and driveway installation; the construction manager initially claimed barriers were under snow, then admitted they were never installed. Under Chapter 119 of the Wetland Protection Bylaw, each of seven separate violations incurs a $300 fine.
The Commission voted unanimously to authorize an Enforcement Order. In parallel business, the Commission unanimously closed a Notice of Intent hearing for the Harvard Parks & Recreation track and field renovation at Harvard Park, issuing a final Order of Conditions after the applicants agreed to all special conditions prepared by Allard.
