Conservation Commission approves amendment process, issues wetland order, continues three hearings.

HARVARD — Conservation Commission approves amended Order of Conditions and issues invasive-treatment order. The Commission unanimously allowed Lot 2 Slough Road to proceed with an amended design featuring an L-shaped house and detached garage with smaller impervious area than originally approved, rather than requiring a new Notice of Intent. For the Nicholas DiDuca property at 228 Old Littleton Road, the Commission issued an Order of Conditions requiring invasive plant treatment notification within 24 hours, native plant replacement, and post-treatment monitoring reports through December 31 for two seasons.
Three Notice of Intent hearings were continued: Greenhut Artistry Residency to April 16 pending a DEP file number, Fire Department's Stow Road fire pond maintenance to April 30, and one other. Conservation Agent Liz Allard reported violations at 114 Clinton Shore Drive for missing erosion control barriers and said she will recommend a fine consistent with recent violations at 21 Bolton Road and will no longer sign building permits until barriers are in place.
