Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 5, 2026

Harvard Conservation Commission unanimously approves invasive species booklet grant and rodenticide ban. The Commission voted to submit a Nashua Rivers Wild & Scenic Stewardship Council 2026 Community Grant Application to print 500 copies of an invasive species booklet for distribution at town events and to new homeowners. Vice Chair John Lee, along with members Jaye Waldron, Mark Shaw, Jim Gorss, Britt Argow, and Meagan Riley, also unanimously voted to recommend to the Select Board a ban on second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides on town-owned land, including conservation land leased to orchards, citing bioaccumulation risks to wildlife.

The Commission ratified fines for violations of conditions at 21 Bolton Road and approved $950 in invoices to Oxbow Associates.
