Harvard Council on Aging board approves February minutes and operational reports. Director Debbie Thompson reported on housing assistance, upcoming lithium battery and Irish cultural programs, and a Volunteer Luncheon set for April 24. The Council's finances remain strong, with the board currently drawing down Formula Grant '24 and holding grants '25 and '26 in reserve.
Two transportation grants of three thousand dollars each, from the National Council on Aging and Minuteman Senior Services, were received. Acting Chair Dee Lee presided as Chair Margaret Murphy was absent; board member Kim Schwarz will depart July 1 upon reaching term limits.
