Deer Management Subcommittee reviews 2025 harvest, advances MassWildlife input.

HARVARD — Deer Management Subcommittee reports two-deer 2025 harvest and supports hunting expansion. Chair Tom Cotton and members Joe Pulido, Tim First, and Britt Argow reviewed outcomes from the season, in which all 29 participating hunters made 331 visits totaling 969 hours on program parcels. The subcommittee agreed to submit comments to MassWildlife supporting Sunday hunting, crossbow hunting, and a reduced 200-foot archery setback.

The 2025 season survey will be distributed by the February 10 meeting.
