Fourth of July Committee · Meeting of April 14, 2026
Harvard's Fourth of July Committee unanimously approved prior minutes and advanced Semisesquicentennial planning on April 14. Chair Christopher Chalifoux arranged for the Harvard Press to announce parade registration opening the day before Annual Town Meeting, with Molly Sinkewicz set to design t-shirt artwork after receiving minimal submission response. Volunteer Colleen McFadden flagged a safety concern about a new motorcycle being deployed up and down the parade route, recommending discussion with Police Chief Babu at a future meeting.
Chalifoux will present a trifold exhibition at the Harvard Cultural Council gathering on May 3. The committee next meets May 20 via Zoom.
