Harvard Board of Health approves ejector pump and Presby septic system

Board of Health · Meeting of March 9, 2026

Harvard Board of Health approves two septic system requests with conditions. Chair Chris Mitchell's board unanimously approved a forced ejector pump for Lot 1 Pinnacle Road requiring standby backup power under 310 CMR 15.229, and a Presby leach field system at 73 Brown Road with a 2-foot groundwater offset instead of the standard 4-foot requirement, citing challenging site conditions. Board members Brad Holub and Susan Kilroy-Ames voted in favor of both approvals.

The Board also began planning for National Public Health Week messaging in April and approved three prior sets of meeting minutes with edits.
