Community Media Access Committee · Meeting of January 27, 2026

Harvard Community Media Access Committee approves nearly $2,700 in emergency studio expenses. Chair Patrick Vallaeys convened the committee virtually January 27 with voting members Cynthia Fontaine and Kate Wool to authorize a fiber transmitter replacement at just under $1,900, required under the committee's Charter Communications contract after the broadcast signal feeder failed, and four vinyl chroma key floor panels at a not-to-exceed $800 for video production. Both expenses were approved unanimously.

The studio restoration, including new flooring and repainted walls, is nearly complete pending final inspection.
