Harvard-Devens Jurisdiction Committee refined presentation slides for a January 27 public session on potential re-integration. The committee, chaired by Victor Normand, reviewed housing, education, utilities, voting, and preliminary financial analyses including rough tax-rate impact estimates, with discussion of taxation to address impacts on agricultural businesses, special tax zones, and growth. Seven of nine members attended the January 12 Zoom meeting.
The committee will conduct a dry run on January 26 in-person at the Council on Aging before the public presentation.
