Harvard housing trust approves treasurer's report, pursues town counsel clarification.

Municipal Affordable Housing Trust · Meeting of March 26, 2026

Harvard housing trust approves treasurer's report, advances Declaration of Trust clarification. The Municipal Affordable Housing Trust approved its treasurer's report and filed a third request to Town Counsel seeking answers on five governance questions--including land-donation pathways, parcel sale authority, and gap-funding power--after two earlier requests went unanswered. The Community Preservation Committee voted 6-2 in favor of two MAHT applications worth approximately 400,000 dollars: roughly 100,000 for operations and 300,000 for housing production.

Chair Arielle Jennings will pursue a consultant-led Strategic Plan engagement by fall 2026 to guide the Trust's priorities and boost community awareness of its mission and affordable-housing benefits.
