HARVARD — The Harvard Public Library Trustees approved the prior month's minutes and heard Director Mary Wilson report that FY26 closed on budget with all certification numbers met. Circulation totaled 126,612 items for the year, with June alone hitting 11,372 checkouts split between physical and e-materials; summer programming is running at full strength, including an ice cream social that drew close to 600 attendees and an upcoming concert. The trustees set the summer retreat for August 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., deferred a bylaws update to the September meeting, and discussed pavilion audio-visual equipment upgrades with pro AV, tasking trustees with outreach to potential collaborators including the cable group and 4th of July Committee.
