School Committee · Meeting of September 28, 2026
Harvard School Committee approved comprehensive improvement plans for all three schools. Chair Abigail Besse commended the cohesive approach to plans focusing on literacy, attendance, and data-informed student support across Hildreth Elementary, Bromfield Middle School, and Bromfield High School, with progress updates scheduled for January and year-end. In capital planning, the committee voted 4-0 with one abstention to submit a $28 million HVAC project request while exploring alternative contractors due to trust concerns with the current design team.
Additional capital approvals included $45,000 for athletic equipment and field improvements and $70,000 for a phone system upgrade.
