Library Trustees approve designs for Harris Room, quiet zones, maker space.

Harvard Public Library Trustees unanimously approved revised concept drawings for five renovation projects, including Harris Room, staff room, kitchen, maker space, and three new enclosed quiet rooms on the first floor. Director Mary Wilson led the review with architect CBT. Trustee Stacie Cassat Green will coordinate modifications.

The board will vote by email by February 4 on a $10,000 website upgrade to Drupal 11. Teen Advisor Chloe Kennedy is recruiting ANHS art students to design sandwich-board signage for upcoming library events. The board holds its next meeting March 2, 2026.
