HARVARD — Open Space Committee discusses land removal and protection priorities. The committee, chaired by Jim Lee of the Harvard Conservation Trust, examined removal-process templates from Westminster and Stow, Massachusetts, and agreed the Westminster document was suitable as a model, with Conservation Agent Liz Allard to compile proposed modifications for further discussion. Members determined that the "top 25" list of parcels targeted for protection requires updating to remove properties already secured through other mechanisms, such as Fruitlands owned by the Trustees of the Reservations.

The committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and unanimously adjourned at 5:00 p.m. The next meeting is March 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
