Planning Board · Meeting of September 14, 2026

Harvard Planning Board voted unanimously to name Jenny Gingras, Director of Community and Economic Development, as its designee for issuing minor erosion control permits under Chapter 133-38, streamlining a process previously requiring full board approval. The Conservation Agent continues to review applications. In a continued public hearing, the board refined five zoning articles for the October 20 Fall Special Town Meeting: conformance with state Chapter 40A changes, consolidated use and dimensional regulation tables, MBTA Communities Multi-Family Overlay District updates, and a new Clean Energy Facilities Bylaw replacing the existing solar overlay district to cover solar and battery energy storage systems.

The public hearing resumes September 28 at 7:30 p.m.
