Harvard Planning Board approves Housing Consortium invoice, delays minute approval. Chair John McCormack and board members Doug Thornton, Irene Battaglia, Richard Abt, and Paul Robertson voted unanimously to approve a $294 Housing Consortium quarterly billing invoice and unanimously approved prior meeting minutes after deciding to postpone formal approval pending Battaglia's written summary of Rural Life Bylaw discussion. McCormack announced the town's new Director of Economic Development, Jenny Gingras, begins June 1, and said the board will defer discussion of its own goals until after she starts.
The board postponed Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System bylaw work pending clarification from the state Department of Energy Resources, and deferred Rural Life Bylaw review pending Select Board and Agricultural Commission feedback. Board members confirmed retention of current committee assignments through July 1, 2027.
