HARVARD — Planning Board approves ice cream stand addition at Three Seasons Landscaping on Ayer Road. The board unanimously approved a site plan for the seasonal ice cream use at 264 Ayer Road, contingent on the applicant proving final lot coverage stays at or below 50 percent, a standard newly established under the Form Base Code. The proposal includes 20 new parking spaces, one-way traffic circulation, concrete sidewalks, and drainage calculations meeting stormwater standards.
The site has already received preliminary state approval for a public water supply well and Board of Health approval for a grease trap. Separately, the board advanced the 2016 Master Plan to completion with all items marked green except athletic fields, and continued work on the Rural Life Preservation Bylaw, with a next meeting scheduled for February 23 that will include hearings on the 320 Ayer Road project.
