Harvard Planning Board approves Pinnacle Road site plan after environmental review. The board unanimously accepted the site plan and driveway design for Lot 1 Pinnacle Road after the applicant consulted the Tree Warden and committed to planting supplemental trees around the property perimeter; no protected specimen trees were identified on the site. In a separate proceeding, the board substantially amended its proposed Large-Scale Ground-Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Facilities Overlay District during a contentious public hearing, raising the residential setback requirement from 60 to 120 feet and allowing discretionary reduction to no less than 75 feet where screening provides equivalent protection, following testimony by abutting residents concerned about property values and aquifer safety.
The hearing on three protective bylaw amendments was continued to April 27, with McCormack casting the sole dissenting vote against the continuation.
