Planning Board · Meeting of March 2, 2026
HARVARD — Planning Board defers decisions on bylaw amendments to March 16. Chair John McCormack and members Doug Thornton, Irene Battaglia, Richard Abt, and Paul Robertson continued a public hearing on amendments to the Town Center Overlay District, solar facility regulations, and Form Based Code, directing staff to prepare responses to resident Rolando Lora's concerns about electromagnetic fields, noise, environmental impacts, and wildlife disruption. The board approved adding two assessment parcels to the solar overlay district and scheduled four Select Board public sessions (March 10, 20, 24, and tentatively April 6) to solicit additional neighborhood input.
Discussion of the Town Center amendments included concerns about protecting the General Store and requests for visual renderings to help residents understand potential future development.
