HARVARD — Select Board approves harassment policy and EMS rate increases at routine meeting. The board unanimously adopted an updated Harassment of Individuals in Protected Classes Policy, updated by Assistant Town Administrator Dawn Dunbar, and approved a 2 percent increase to Emergency Medical Services rates for calendar year 2026 presented by Firefighter/EMT Jason Cotting, with basic life support non-emergency calls now $667.59 and advanced life support base rates reaching $2,521.35. The board also unanimously approved proclamations for Eagle Scouts Evan Burek and Jonathan Evans, a Motorcycle Safety Awareness Period declaration for March 22–April 30, and an updated Sustainable Purchasing Policy.
NextGen Energy executives presented a proposed 10-megawatt microgrid project with potential municipal revenue and reduced electricity costs contingent on an 8-to-12-week feasibility assessment costing $300,000–$375,000 for a five-town consortium.
