Select Board · Meeting of August 18, 2026

Harvard Select Board appointed Maura Visconsi, an elementary school teacher, to the Historical Commission and approved a revised out-of-state travel policy that centralizes approval authority with Town Administrator Dawn Dunbar rather than requiring Select Board sign-off on individual requests. The board voted 4-0 on both items. The revised policy retains meal reimbursement caps of $10 for breakfast, $15 for lunch, and $25 for dinner, and continues to prohibit reimbursement for alcohol and tobacco.

The board also unanimously approved a one-day liquor license for Dirigible Brewing to serve beer September 26 and 27 at Harvard Alpaca Farm during the farm's ten-year anniversary celebration, and voted to approve an election worker roster.
