Harvard Select Board approves regional energy resilience grant commitment, with unanimous vote. Chair Kara McGuire Minar led the board through the MVP Action Grant letter supporting the HERO Cluster Phase 1 project with Ayer and Shirley, meeting a March 25th deadline. The board also maintained existing ballot language for the omnibus budget article containing a $135,370 override and deferred votes on Articles 4 and 5 until town meeting.
In a joint session, Planning Board members approved unanimous edits to Article 26 regarding solar overlay district setbacks, fencing, and noise standards, with native plant requirements to be incorporated in conditions. Interim Town Administrator Dawn Dunbar reported the McCurdy track and Harvard Park resurfacing project received a low bid of $2.4 million, with closure effective June 1st and completion by fall.
