Harvard Select Board appoints interim administrator as permanent Town Administrator. The board unanimously voted to name Dawn Dunbar as the town's next administrator, with Board Chair SusanMary Redinger authorized to begin contract negotiations; members praised her communication skills and leadership during the transition period. In separate votes, the board appointed five new volunteers to municipal boards, extended the Fivesparks lease agreement to May 2028, and approved a letter to state officials regarding proposed Devens changes.
A 3-2 vote authorized removal of two public trees on Ayer Road despite one resident's objection to a 125-year-old oak tree near her property.
