HARVARD — Select Board interviews interim town administrator for permanent role. Interim Town Administrator Dawn Dunbar discussed 16 years of municipal government experience, including prior positions in Groton as interdepartmental assistant, executive assistant to the town manager, and town clerk, before joining Harvard as assistant town administrator. Dunbar identified increasing revenue, addressing housing issues, and managing the landfill situation as top priorities for the next one to three years, and emphasized commitment to open communication and collaboration with the board.
The board voted unanimously to enter Executive Session under MGL Chapter 30A, sections 21(a) 2 and 7 to conduct a strategy session in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel, the Town Administrator position.
