Select Board · Meeting of September 15, 2026

Harvard Select Board voted unanimously on four municipal appointments and DPW facility siting. The Board appointed Superintendent Dana Labb as School Representative to the Addiction Abatement Fund Working Group; approved Robert Blanck as a new member and Andrew Gavin as a regular member of the Community Media Access Committee; and postponed Jim Lee's appointment to the Open Space Committee pending Conservation Trust nomination. In a separate action, the Board narrowed DPW facility siting options from five to two, eliminating proposals involving wetland conflicts and playing field loss, and authorized an Owner's Project Manager search to guide design and construction phases using $10 million in remaining appropriations.

The Board also unanimously approved a $9,999.99 mini grant from the Addiction Abatement Fund to the Addiction Referral Center for emergency sober housing rental assistance.
