Harvard Tree Warden approved the removal of an invasive Tree of Heaven species. Property owner Matt Robbins requested removal of the 56-inch tree from 165 Littleton County Road, citing its invasive status on the state's official list. Tree Warden JC Ferguson approved the removal contingent upon the property owner engaging a professional tree company experienced in invasive-tree removal, including herbicide treatment between July and October.
No formal objections were received by the deadline, though resident Eve Wittenberg requested that proper invasive-tree removal procedures be followed as a condition of approval.
