HARVARD — Water Commission authorizes signatories for Devens water connection and addresses contamination testing. Chair Chris Mitchell and member Jeffrey Tingle unanimously approved Eric Ryder and Dawn Dunbar as signatories for Harvard/Devens water connection documents. The Commission also unanimously approved a sewer abatement of approximately $2,474.72 for the Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church and removed associated late fees stemming from a water leak.
The Commission requested additional data from the Licensed Site Professional on PFAS contamination expansion in the Depot Road area and agreed to meet with MassDEP to clarify regulatory expectations and explore funding for potential response options including point-of-entry treatment systems.
