HARVARD — Water and Sewer Commissions approve drain-layer license and sewer permit. Chair Chris Mitchell and Commissioner Jeff Tingle unanimously approved Curtis Septic's drain-layer license application, with Town Administrator Dan Nason confirming the company's work quality. The commissions also unanimously approved a sewer access permit for 13 Old Littleton Road, with an approximately $3,000 connection fee for an E1 pump station installation.
Ongoing PFAS contamination testing around Depot and Old Mill Road involves 19 homes, with the commissions considering connecting four to five homes to the existing water main and evaluating point-of-entry treatment for other properties. The water and sewer design project for the MBTA zone district is 60 percent complete, funded through a $1.14 million grant.
